Study Abroad Programs

The Asian Studies program periodically offers study abroad experiences during the summer term which are led by our own College of Charleston faculty.  Additionally, students looking to study abroad for an entire semester or academic year can consider participating in a bi-lateral exhange program.

Scholarships/Honors/Awards

Every Spring the Asian Studies program awards the Lannie-Zlatoper Scholarship. This is a $1,500 scholarship for students studing abroad. Students are chosen based on grade point average and financial need. For more infomataion on the award and application, please contact the Director of the Asian Studies program.

Students can also find scholarships through The Center for International Education and the School of Languages, Cultures and World Affairs. They offer several sources of financial assistance for study abroad:
